THis gun is probably the most solid carbine I've ever held.
I've been duped before by companies who install weights in their guns and glue them down inside body tubes, foregrips, stocks, et-cetera.
THe stock is genuine steel and is *not* by any means a weak point, unless you let it rust out that badly. The receiver is your typical zinc-aluminum alloy, but has an excellent oxide-like finish on it that refuses to wear, even when I want the gun to look beat-up and old.
Operating characteristics are most closely likened to the venerable ICS MP5A4, only trading some accuracy for a bit extra range. THe gun is literally within a few millimeters of the length of an MP5A4, but the magazine capacity obviously presents an advantage, as does the default folding stock and the fact that you don't have to use an itty-bitty 7.2v or 8.4v micro pack.
THe drawback is in design. FOr tactical applications, you'll find yourself at a slight disadvantage wherein you have to change your grip on the weapon's pistol-grip to access the select-fire lever, but this can be fixed by installing an enhanced selector lever for an AK47.
The perfect carbine/SMG transition weapon for a gunner accustomed to an AK47, 74, 104 or RPK, and at a decent price.

I had this gun for a few months now. I got it because i didn't really want a big AK, I just wanted a small one for easier mobility.
I recommend a Intellect 9.6v 1600MaH stick battery for this gun, firing rate is wayy faster.
FPS i'm guessing is about 360-370 area. I don't know as I used a coke can.It is very accurate up too 100 feet using .20s.
Weighs about 6Lb, the gun is durable. It feels hefty. One day i tripped and the gun fell on a bunch of rocks. The gun was just a bit dirty but it worked fine. One weakpoint i can see is the stock.
Overall GREAT gun, definently worth the purchase if you are looking for a small AK that is easy and comfortable to use and durable.
