VooDoo Tactical Entry Knee Pads Guards

Having been a stooge as usual, I neglected to bring my knee pads to Codename: Thunder this year. I realized this about half an hour prior to play, and immediately went on a mad dash to pick something up. CombatSportSupply's booth on site had one pair of these left in OD green. I looked at them, decided they would have to do. At first glance, they look exactly like any other knee pad you'd pick up for $20 at an airsoft shop. THen the differences start coming out. The rivets are hollow-cored, meaning there is no cheap press-stamping going on. THese won't pull out after a few games worth of hard use. Next, I noticed the cap itself is a flexible, almost rubbery material that's quiet when it bumps against your cover, but does more than enough to protect your knees. The material is a much heavier-duty matte-cordura material than the shiny-looking stuff that cheaper pads will be made from. It ablates scrapes, sharp edges and other forms of damage like they're not even happening. The most important feature, to me, however, is the quick-release buckle on the side. It's a low-profile lock using a loop and a button, allowing easy removal without risking bruising your knees. These are easily the best $20 I have *ever* spent in my nine years playing. Excellent value. Fantastic price and bulletproof mil-spec quality. Everything you'd expect from a top-shelf brand like Blackhawk Tactical at a fraction of the price.
