*Contact For Availability*
HYDRA:
The Wolverine Airsoft HYDRA: Gen. 2 utilizes our proprietary HYBRID open/closed bolt technology from the Inferno GEN 2. It functions and performs like our Inferno GEN 2, but with offset nozzles. The Hydra was the first out-of-the-box drop-in HPA engine for guns with offset nozzles. Convert guns like the M14, P90, Tavor, and more into an HPA monster with the Hydra GEN 2. We have also added a front bushing plate for improved nozzle stability. Now your unique guns can shoot with the accuracy and consistency as our Inferno GEN 2 in M4 and other common style platforms. HPA is on the rise and Wolverine Airsoft is truly propelling the market forward. If you are ready to make the jump, hop on board with us, because we are leading the way.

Why the name?
Hydra is a legendary creature from Greek mythology. This dragonlike beast was supremely feared for its many heads. Like its namesake, the Wolverine Airsoft HYDRA is one body sporting MANY heads! The HYDRA is designed to work with any centered or offset nozzle design with changing only ONE PART! You heard that right! The same body will work in your M14, P90, PDR and many more by JUST SWAPPING THE NOZZLE!
Have you ever dreamed of Polarizing your MP5, G3 or SCAR? With the introduction of the GEN3, now you can! At first glance the GEN3 FEV2 looks very much like the GEN2 and, for the most part, the two are quite similar. However, unlike its predecessor, the FEV2 GEN3 is no longer just for the M4/M16 series rifle. We applied the same concept used with our Version 3 Fusion Engine™ so that it is now able to interface with the selector plate and related components of your existing AEG’s gearbox. This makes it possible to adapt the engine for use in multiple rifle models which share the Version 2 gearbox without any major modification.
The FEV2 GEN3 will come complete with a M4/M16 series trigger and steel selector plate so that it can be installed into any M4/M16 series AEG which is Tokyo Marui compatible. However, by installing a different nozzle or rifle specific conversion kit, you will be able to expand the number of rifles it will be compatible with. In most cases all you’ll need to do is change out the trigger and selector components with ones from your AEG, install a different Fusion Engine™ nozzle, and the engine is ready to use in a completely different model of rifle.
The internal operation of the GEN3 FEV2 and the GEN2 FEV2 cylinder assembly are exactly the same and share many of the same parts, so it offers the same stellar downrange performance and rock solid reliability as its predecessor. This GEN3 does however feature a new side plate design to accommodate the AEG selector plate and is equipped with a new electronic switchboard. One advantage to this new design is that the switchboard offers a wider contact point with the selector plate to allow for varying tolerances in the rifles selector assembly making for improved out-of-the-box compatibility with an increased number of rifle brands.
As requested by many of our fans, the FEV2 GEN3 will come standard with our newly redesigned “Milsim Manifold”. This feature enables the user to install an optional 90 degree fitting inside of their engine allowing the air line to be routed to the rear of the engine and exit through the buffer tube sling plate on an M4 series rifle.
As with all of our engine models, you can quickly change and adjust key functions of the engine via the on-board FCU (Fire Control Unit) which is no bigger than an AEG’s MOSFET and can easily fit inside of a rifles battery compartment along with a small Li-po battery. Using the FCU’s five position joystick and LCD display you will be able to easily adjust such functions as the systems cyclic rate, fire modes and nozzle timing on the fly.
With the Fusion Engine™ in your rifle you will also be able to adjust its muzzle velocity via the remote air rig (sold separately). Adjusting the PSI output on your air rig will allow you to fine tune your rifles muzzle velocity so you will always be able to get it exactly where you want it. And then for larger velocity changes we offer a series of air nozzles with varying bore sizes to shift the velocity adjustment range up or down to best meet your requirements.
The best part is that our system is extremely user friendly. Even if you have only the basic understanding of an airsoft rifle, you will find that operating and manipulating this system is very simple and does not require a degree in airsoft engineering to figure out.

Wolverine Airsoft LLC was started to bring the highest level of airsoft performance technology to the airsoft market by taking complex ideas and turning them into smart, simple designs. Focusing on the growing field of High Pressure Air (HPA) technology, Wolverine Airsoft makes their products as convenient to use and as reliable as possible while maintaining the true performance advantages of HPA.
Wolverine Airsoft is renowned for their invention of the Wolverine Single Moving Part (SMP), the newest step in the evolution of HPA technology. The SMP is a high performance HPA system that uses a single moving part (SMP), one solenoid valve, and can be dropped into virtually any airsoft gun platform on the market.
The simple concept of a Single Moving Part HPA system is that the fewer moving parts in the system, the more reliable it will be. Rather than repackaging electro-pneumatic paintball technology into an airsoft gun, Wolverine Airsoft adapted the technology specifically for airsoft using a direct, solenoid-fired mechanism. The Wolverine Airsoft SMP combines this with a springless imbalanced poppet technology to create an HPA product with solid reliability and amazing performance.
At Wolverine Airsoft they believe in simplicity – that less can be more. That is why the SMP reduces the replaceable parts by more than 50% compared to any other leading HPA products, lasting even longer with fewer malfunctions. The single solenoid valve also improves air efficiency by as much as 50% compared to a two-solenoid system, providing more shots out of a single air tank. ONE valve. ONE moving part. One sweet gun upgrade.
Applying the same concepts to their electronic components, Wolverine Airsoft created a “smart” HPA system that tunes many of its own settings internally, allowing the user to make any necessary adjustments using only use two simple dials. KISS.
To provide access to this technology for as many users as possible, WA decided not to include a gearbox shell. Instead, they created the unit to drop-in to an existing gearbox, with interchangeable components that allow it to be used in virtually any version 2 or version 3 gun on the market. The Wolverine SMP was designed to drop into nearly every popular gearbox on the market with no modifications. WA constantly updats the design to include even more gun models. External components are small and easy to fit into the stock, grip, or handguard of your gun. Just install the SMP into your gearbox in a matter of minutes, and you’re ready to go! Their high-performance HPA system features straightforward controls that offer all the tuning capabilities you need on the field to play any number of roles. The rate of fire and dwell time can be adjusted using two simple dials on the fire control unit located in your stock, grip, or rail system. All other settings are internally regulated. This simple design reduces the number of controls from 7 to only 2, so you can spend less time tuning and more time pulling the trigger. HPA technology makes cracked gearbox shells, stripped pistons and grinding gears a thing of the past. With more than 50% fewer parts than other leading HPA products, the Wolverine SMP is even more durable. WA offers a 9 month warranty on their system. Maintenance involves only simple lubing with an occasional replacement of an o-ring after several hundred thousand rounds. And, if something does go wrong, the SMP is extremely easy to troubleshoot and repair.

Electronics – By utilizing one moving part, the simple mechanical design of the version 3 SMP simplifies the electronic settings yet still retains the same degree of adjustability, making it easy to tune the SMP to fit your needs. Adjustments can be made on-the-fly using dials on the conveniently miniature fire control unit (FCU) and in a simple startup menu.
Battery – The SMP includes a custom made and compact 500mah 7.4V lipo with built in PCM (protection circuit module) to prevent over-charging and discharging of the battery. The “sleep mode” feature also substantially improves battery life by waking up the electronics only when the trigger is pulled, long enough to fire the gun. Reverse polarity protection is also provided to prevent damage due to an incorrectly connected battery.
