WWII US M1938 Dismounted Canvas Leggings Reproduction

Quality reproduction M1938 dismounted canvas leggings in good condition. With date and maker’s stamps. Complete and ready to wear. The leggings are made from heavy cotton canvas, kept on with a fabric string and fasteners.

The M1938 Leggings are designed to cover GI’s boots from the ankle up to prevent snagging and keep stones, mud, etc. from getting inside the soldier’s boots, and to provide some ankle support. They are often referred to as gaiters or spats.

These leggings are available in size 3R and 4R. They measure approximately 12 inches in length from top to bottom. Please see the size table below for an approximate size comparison.

The size in inches is the circumference of the calf muscle at its widest point.
